Delivery lead times

The estimated delivery time for each item is shown on its product page. Stock levels can change daily, so if you'd like to confirm availability before ordering, please get in touch. Where an order contains more than one item, we'll generally deliver everything together once all items are ready. If an item is unexpectedly out of stock, we'll contact you within one working day to let you know and offer an alternative or a revised timescale. If that doesn't suit, we'll refund you in full.

Free UK delivery

We offer free delivery to most UK mainland addresses, regardless of order value. A surcharge applies to certain remote postcodes (below).

Excepted surcharge postcodes: AB30-AB99, IV6-IV99, KW, PA20-PA80, PH15-PH50, PO30-PO41. Our system won't add this surcharge automatically. We'll contact you with the cost once your order is placed and confirm before going ahead. To check the charge or lead time before ordering, email your postcode to info@blackwoodandrose.com.

Offshore UK

For offshore UK addresses (Northern Ireland, the Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands), we deliver to a nominated mainland GB address, for example a shipping port. Onward shipping from that point is at the customer's risk and responsibility. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full offshore delivery terms.

Access and the delivery day

We always aim to deliver to your room of choice, but please make sure there's clear, safe access to your property and the room itself. Narrow or spiral staircases and low ceilings can prevent access for larger items, so do check the dimensions on the product page against your doorways and stairwells before ordering. If access proves too difficult or unsafe, the delivery team may be unable to complete delivery. So please let us know in advance of anything that might affect it.

Please make sure someone is available to receive the delivery. Free delivery applies to the first attempt. If no one is present, or if incorrect contact details were given at checkout, a redelivery charge may apply. Please double-check your phone number and email at checkout so the carrier can reach you.

On the day

The delivery team will usually call ahead with a time window. Before the driver leaves, please check you're happy with your item and sign the delivery note. If anything isn't right, with the delivery or the item, tell us as soon as possible.

Damage on delivery

Please check all packaging on delivery before signing. If there's any visible damage, sign for it as “damaged” or “unchecked” and note it on the paperwork before the driver leaves.
